Today you arrive at Imphal Airport. On arrival you will be greeted with Traditional Indian Welcome by our company representative and transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Free time to relax and start your Reh & Boori Boot Festival Tour from next day. Overnight stay your hotel.

Moring after early breakfast, you will be driven to the ferry point at Dhola. Board the ferry and sail for about 1 ½ -2 hours across the mighty Brahmaputra. On reaching the other side, we will start our onward journey through some mesmerizing landscapes to the small town of Roing, placed on the foothills of Mishmi Hills. Roing, the district headquarters of Lower Dibang District of Arunachal Pradesh is the home of Idu Mishmi tribe. On arrival, we will check in to the hotel. In the evening we will visit local markets and also witness the preparation for the ‘Reh’ Festival. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Morning after breakfast we will spend the whole day at Roing, enjoying the colorful festival and festivities of the Reh Festival.
The Idu Mishmi tribe celebrates the Reh Festival during February every year. The sole aim for performing this auspicious event known as Reh is to appease the mother Goddess ‘Nanyi Inyitara’. This festival marks the effort to instil peace, prosperity and brotherhood among the people of tribe and it is believed that it can only be acquired by worshiping the goddess Nanyi Inyitara. The major ritual performed during the festival includes the sacrifice of a large number of buffaloes and gifting of pigs to relatives. There is a custom of collecting pigs, mithuns( a large semi- domesticated bovine found in Arunachal Pradesh) and monkeys at least one year in advance to celebrate the festival. A huge amount of ‘Yunyiphri’, the local rice beer, is also prepared to enjoy the festivities. It is also assumed that it’s only the participants of this festival who are the ones blessed with a strong feeling of brotherhood and love. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Early morning drive to Pasighat - the district headquarters of East Siang and the oldest town of Arunachal Pradesh. One of the adventurous journeys of the trip will be unfolded by crossing 3 (three) major rivers: the Siang by motorized boat, and Dibang as well as Piphipani by big wooden paddled boats – all the while crossing many small streams on the way. Incredibly, there are no bridges over these rivers and we will be driving on river beds, through forests and villages. On arrival we will check into Hotel. Explore the Pasighat town in the evening. Morning after breakfast drive to Along / Aalo, the district headquarters of the Upper Siang District and primary home for Adi Gallong tribe. After reaching and checking into the hotel. we explore their villages, visit the market in the evening. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Morning after breakfast we will drive to Daporijo, the district headquarters of Upper Subansiri District and the home for ethnic tribes of Galo, Tagin, Hill-Miri and Nah. On arrival we will check into a hotel. We will walk around the market in the evening. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Morning after breakfast you will be spend the whole day at Daporijo, witnessing the “Boori Boot” Festival. Largely celebrated by the Hill-Miris, the “Boori Boot” festival effectively involves the assembly of huge groups of people from virtually all around the adjoining areas. The festival welcomes people of every caste, creed, age and sex to participate in it. According to a belief, during the festival, the sacred soul that belongs to Boori Boot is summoned - and is known to sanctify people. The villagers pray for prosperity and for effective shielding against the cursed shadows of fatal ailments that sometimes ravage villages after village in the adjoining areas. This distinctive essence of Boori Boot makes it one of the most popular and cherished fiestas in the entire state of Arunachal Pradesh. Thus, unlike other celebrations, Boori Boot Festival attracts a lot of eager people who desire unadulterated fun and frolic. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Morning after breakfast drive to Ziro through lush green valleys and paddy fields. En route, we will visit Hill- Miri villages to experience their culture and life. On reaching Ziro, we will check into the hotel. Later in the evening we will visit the market. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Morning after breakfast you will be provided full day free at leisure for your own activities. Ziro, the district headquarters of Lower Subansiri District, and the home for Apantani tribe, who are famed for their pagan culture, and whose womenfolk, considered the most beautiful in the region wear nose stubs and facial tattoos to deter being kidnapped by the neighbouring Nyishi tribes, which was in practice till the 1950s. Ziro, is also known for high altitude farming where they cultivate paddy on the upper layer and fish on the lower layer. We will visit some paddy fields through winding roads and visit Apatani villages to experience their culture and day life. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Morning after breakfast you will be driven to Itanagar - the capital city of Arunachal Pradesh and also the district headquarters of Papum Pare District. Approaching the city, be ready to be greeted by the beauty of the convergence of tropical evergreen rain forests and the pleasant Himalayan forests. On arrival, we will check into hotel. Later in the evening, we will visit the historical Ita Fort, Museum and the famous Buddhist temple. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Morning after breakfast you will be driven to Bomdila, Bomdila is the district headquarters of the West Kameng District. Situated at an altitude of 8000 ft, the drive to Bomdila will take us to close proximity of the Himalayan Mountains. On arrival, we will check into hotel. Later in the afternoon, we will visit Buddhist Monastery and the local market. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Morning after breakfast you will be driven to a height of 10200 ft to reach Tawang, the home of Monpas. On our way, we will explore the Sela Pass/ Sela Lake at 14000 ft, apparently the highest motorable pass in the North East India. En route, we will visit the Jaswantgarh Memorial – a legend associated with 1962 Indo-China war. Throughout the drive, we will witness many zigzag, hairpin bends and enjoy the incredibly beautiful view of the Eastern Himalayan Peaks. On arrival check into the hotel. Rest of the time you will be provided free at leisure. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Morning after breakfast you will be visit the famous 400 years old Tawang Monastery, one of the largest in India and Asia, and the home to more than 500 Lamas. The Monastery also accommodates the Parkhang Library: a collection of the 400-year-old Kangyurs that consists of 110 volumes with 400-500 pages in each bundle – all along with many invaluable manuscripts and ancient art effects. After noon you will embark on a trip to an adjacent Monpa village. In the evening, we will explore the local market and the crafts emporium. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Morning after breakfast you be will visit the famous Urgelling Monastery - the birth place of the 6th Dalai Lama – and then drive our way back to Dirang. En route, we will visit Jung Falls and if time permits, again stop at Sela Pass/Sela Lake to enjoy the view from the other side. On reaching Dirang, we will check into our hotel. Rest of the time you will explore the Dirang town and local market. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Morning after breakfast you will be explore the Dirang Valley - laid along the pristine Dirang River. Later we will visit Palyul Changchubdargyeling Monastery, Kalachakra Temple, the centuries old Dirang Dzong (Monastery) and a village with its traditional house to experience the (Sherdukpen/Monpa) local culture. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Moring after breakfast you will be Driven for the Nameri. En route, we will visit Tipi Orchid Centre. On arrival at Nameri National Park, a birders paradise, which is also a Tiger Reserve, we will check into tented forest camps with thatched roof – making for the perfect forest stay. But not worry, these camps are no less than any comfortable accommodation – and even come with attached bath with hot and cold water facilities. In the evening, we will take a nature walk to the banks of river Jiya Bhoroli that flows nearby to the camps. Overnight stay your Camp.

The early morning trek inside the park will take us into a birding paradise. The likes of Merganser, Pallas’s Fish eagle, Lapwings, Cormorants, Ruddy Shell Duck, Kingfishers and also the elusive Great Indian Hornbill can be seen inside the park beside many other wildlife. We will come back to camp, have breakfast and drive 15 Kms upstream from the camp and raft down the Jiya Bhoroli River. While expert boatman and lifeguards will accompany you, all other essentials of a river boating endevour, like life jackets etc will be facilitated by us. We will disembark at a designated point near Eco-camp and have lunch, Then you will be Kaziranga National Park, a paradise for greater Indian one horned Rhinoceros as well as a home to Elephants, tigers, water buffaloes and many species of birds. On arrival check-in to your pre-booked hotel. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Early morning you will be explore the park by an elephant safari. Apart from the rhino, other animals that you may encounter in the safari are hog deer, swamp deer, wild water buffalos, elephants - and if you are lucky, even tiger. Kaziranga is also home to pelicans, storks and darters - as there are numerous water bodies to be encountered inside the Park. With a variety of migratory and resident birds darting from tree to tree, the safari in Kaziranga will offer you an opportunity to observe these avian varieties – along with their mammalian counterparts - very closely. We will return to the resort for breakfast. Mid morning, we will visit a nearby village inhibited by Mishing tribe to witness their lifestyle and culture. Will have our lunch at the resort. Post lunch, we will again venture into the park for a Jeep safari. Overnight stay at your hotel.
